I am a final year Registered nursing student at the Caribbean School of Nursing (CSON), located on the campus of The University of Technology Jamaica.
Throughout my years as a student nurse I have honed my communication and interpersonal, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills. My journey towards becoming a Registered Nurse has also taught me how to be a patient person and how to positively react to various situations. I work well on my own initiative but I am also an excellent team player who is capable of effectively and efficiently completing given tasks within specified time frame.
During my course of study I have had to opportunity to work through my practical area of my course at The Kingston Public Hospital (KPH), The Victoria Jubilee Hospital (VJH), and The University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), The National Chest Hospital, The Bellevue Hospital and The Spanish Town Hospital. I have also developed very good work ethics during my training. I am a focused individual with a pleasant personality and has developed the ability to control and no portray my issues onto others.
