The company has both full time staff and a number of associates who can be called upon to provide specialist service when required. Since 1987 the company has established itself as a reputable and professional training and consultancy organization and as established a client base throughout Jamaica, the quality of our client base is a testament of the service provided. Core business supplying and refilling of Fi re Extinguishers, Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lights, Exit lights supply, repair and maintenance of all fire systems install by ourselves or others. In the year 2002 Supreme Fire Service Limited saw the opportunity for expansion into a new developing market of fire protection door and push bar a full range of Fire Hydrants and supplies and installation, wide range of Fire Training to clients in the use of Fire Extinguishers and Fire Fighting Equipment. SPECIFICATIONS: The specification defines the minimum conditions for servicing of Fire Fighting Equipment’s the applicable requirements are those bases on British Standard 5306-3:2000 and the Fire Extinguisher Manufacturers Recommendations. BASIC INSPECTIONS OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS INCLUDE: • It’s located in the designated place. • It’s unobstructed visible and its operating instruction faces out-wards. • Has operating instructions which are clean and legible. • It’s obviously damage. • Has a reading in the operable range or positions of any pressure gauge or indicator fitted. • Have seals, pins and tamper indicator which are not broken or missing. BASIC INSPECTIONS OF FIRE HOSE REEL INCLUDE: • It’s located in the designated place. • It’s unobstructed visible, and operating. • It’s not corroded. • Check Discharge Hose for cracks. • Making sure water is flowing. BASIC INSPECTIONS OF EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS & SIGNS INCLUDING: • It’s unobstructed visible and operating. • Its operating indicator lights are on. • Complete examination of system. BASIC INSPECTION OF KITCHEN SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS INCLUDES: • It’s nozzle unobstructed, free of grease and operating freely. • Its panel responding to commands. • Its switches and agent container are unobstructed. • Its seals and pins are not tampered with. • Is located in the designated place. BASIC RE-SERVICING OF FIRE ALARM INCLUDES: • Inspection of Devices and cleaning devices • Inspection of Fire Panel • Inspection of Conduits and Cables BASIC RE-SERVICING INCLUDES: • Complete strip down and discharge of units. • Recovery of agents to determine re-uses. • Inspection and hydrostatic testing of body of unit. • Testing and replacement of valve and gauge if required. • Complete Examination of discharge hose for cracks and deterioration. • Painting or Spraying. SERVICE RECORD • Inspection and service record tags, taper seals will be indicated on all Fire Extinguishers of the last inspection or reservicing date. Basic Fire Drill HANDS ON TRAINING: All types of Fire Extinguishers Training generally last for 1 hour. INDEPT TRAINING (Practical & Theory) All types of Fire Extinguishers Training hours fluctuates.
